If It Is To Be, It Is Up To Me!

This is a great quote from Wally Brown in the Navajo Teaching Video:

Comments from Shane, Wally Brown’s Son, quoting Wally in his teaching, This Is Your Power:

“It is the same power that makes the Holy People who they are” That part of the teaching hit me in a different way. When we sat down and started filming this video I knew it was going to be a treasure.
When I was younger I thought the idea of free will was simple. But now people and circumstances have forced me to think about it. This teaching as my Father says in the video “Has many roots”. It pretty much touches everything else from what I can understand.

He was very passionate about this one. And he has spent a lot of time consulting different elders about this teaching. I think the reason is… he see’s a lot of our young people who don’t realize they have the ability and power to change things. Some of them think they are at the mercy of everything but themselves. A teaching like this really gives hope. And I think that is why there was so much passion about this teaching. Enjoy the video and I hope you have a wonderful week.
