What Do The Prophetic Words Of The Hopi, The Zuni And The Lakota Sioux Have To Do With Today’s World?

Lynn shares information from almost 30 years ago from a Hopi spokesman, whom the Hopi elders called their interpreter, Thomas Banyacya.

He knocked on the door of the United Nations starting in 1949, 1972, 1982, and 1992. They finally allowed Thomas and other tribal peoples from North and South America to speak in 1992 to a mostly empty room. You’ll find out what happened when Thomas spoke in the notes below.

Hopi Prophecy by Thomas Banyacya (1995) Part 1 of 2

As messenger and translator for Hopi elders since 1948, Tomas Banyacay, Sr. (1909-1999) traversed the globe trying to help people understand the warnings revealed in the Hopi Prophecy in November, 1995, the Sacred Land Film Project followed Thomas to the Whole Life Expo in Las Vegas where he made two hour-long presentations over two days.

Two events caused Hopi elders to call an unprecedented meeting in 1948:

• 1. the US government’s creation of the Indian Claims Commission, designed to extinguish aboriginal title to land held by Native Americans by paying them money for lands “taken” but not affirming title to land or returning lands taken, and
• 2. the “gourd full of ashes” raining fire from the sky in the form of atom bombs dropped on the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

These two events confirmed prophecies held by individual Hopi clans and when the elders met to discuss the meaning of these alarming developments, they selected four young Hopi men to serve as translators, interpreters and messengers to carry a warning to the outside world.

The inventions and writings of the white man, aka “bahana” in Hopi, were now in such extreme violation of natural law and the instructions of the Great Spirit that Western technological/industrial society threatened all of humanity with the same apocalyptic fate that has met three previous worlds. Thomas Banyacya, Sr. was one of the messengers chosen to deliver the warnings and the positive call to action embedded in the Hopi Prophecy.

Hopi Messenger—Thomas Banyacya Sr., imprisoned 7 years for refusing to sign up for the army in WWII. People will suffer upheaveals, earthquakes, tidal waves because things have not been corrected. Thomas says, that is why I went to the United Nations with a message because now it is up to the people to bring correct changes. You cannot save many people. Now we are at the point of 3^rd world war, or disturbing nature so much that nature acts strongly and there is no way to survive.

We can correct the wrong doing. White brother brought writing to our people (a lawsuit against the US government) and if we win we get money. But we do not want to sell the land; it is Mother Earth. This land belongs to the Creator and not to White House officials. The elders did not file a claim as people would start fighting and destroying one another over money and land.

Thomas said: If we throw this atom bomb and throw it on Persian Gulf, those nations did not come to invade us. But the United States throws it around. These people affected are going to get sick and tired of this and make the most powerful bomb, better than the atom bomb US made, and they are going to throw it here (on the US). That is what the old people were wanting me to explain. I listened to their message and in 1948 I said I would work on getting this message.

Hopi people and Native peoples have no business to go and disturb and destroy the lives of other people. No one helped or protected the Native people who fought in the US wars.

The Hopi and other Native people keep the land in balance through prayer and ceremony.

The government threw Thomas in their prison for seven years for not agreeing to go into the military. He says, I was trying to be a good Hopi and I was not a criminal. I think a lot of government officials should be in this prison right now. The most dangerous thing is liquor for native people all over the world. We’re getting close to the time of no spirituality and people don’t care what they do to one another. The native people are about to be destroyed.

People may rise up and come over to our land. This is the dangerous thing we are facing. I belong to the Coyote Clan on my mother’s side. The coyote can get in trouble. The old men wanted me to carry the message. They knew we were getting closer to bigger things. Coyotes are like messengers. They can bring messages or warnings. They are messengers like the owls and the crows as well. The elders told me to talk to any nations and any people in order to avoid greater punishment in the future.

Thomas met around the US for six years with native people. He also met with them in El Salvador and Puerto Rico who knew the same thing. They know that earth is a female and that we all came from Mother Earth. They are to keep the land in balance. They are not trying to make oil wells, strip mines, or rip out forests.

Thomas describes those who are exploiting the resources of the American Indians are taking the underground water for their mines. They are taking the drinking water the people survive on. Their water tables are dropping.

The White brothers are testing many dangerous things right now and they are building poison gas. That will destroy the world. All of you have spirituality and prophecies from your ancestors. They have killed thousands in the Persian Gulf…for what? Are we going to continue to develop poison gas, bombs and rip up Mother Earth? We have to realize the wrongness of this development.

Thomas also says: We need to use clean power. I met with the generals at the Pentagon. There were eight of us native people there to talk to them. I told them that we should stop destroying life on the other side of the world. The Hopi people are telling you to bring all your armies back home before they create more war.

If there is a big war over there the soldiers won’t come home. The old people are telling the generals to bring the soldiers home. Have them replant the trees and use technical things to fill in the destruction of land from mines and oil. They can help to clean up the oceans, rivers, and lakes.

We were told to never bring anything from the moon and they have done this. We are getting more diseases and more tornadoes. Soon there will be lightning destroying trees and fire destroying things. Buildings will be hit from the lightning. The earth quakes will be more powerful.

I cannot save you; it is up to you now. That is what our prayers are for and we pray for the north, east, south, west, above and below and our spiritual ancestors are listening to us and watching us. How are we doing today?

I told the army people to bring their people home. The Hopi people will continue to pray and meditate and they should not be taken into their armies. They took many of the native people to the western US and today I see them without help, without medicine or education, no food, no jobs. Why are our young people living in their cars?

We have to use the birds, the eagles to keep our land in balance. The army needs to help clean the oceans. The wind is telling the people in San Francisco to clean up the ocean. Animals are attacking people in the 4 corners area (NM, CO, AZ, UT). Bears come to the cities and towns.

When you walk down the trails you will see the trees talking to you. The rocks and the rivers will be crying to you. You human beings are supposed to be the caretakers of this land and now you are about to destroy this Mother Earth.

The native people are taking care of the land in a special way. The government is going to move the Seminoles off their land and put them in government housing. If they do that the eastern part of the country will be in danger because the Seminoles are keeping the land in balance. Tornadoes will rip the area up. No one is there to take care of the land from their heart.

I was told to tell people to store food that will last for four days, four months or four years. From now on nature is going to act. You won‘t be able to go to town. This is what we are coming in to now.

The elders told me to go to the United Nations and that it will be hard to open the doors. The Hopi called it the House of Mica. We can only tell the government and the UN what is going to happen. I knocked on the door of the UN in 1949 and they did not open the door. Then again in 1972 they would not let us speak to the Assembly in Vancouver. In 1982 I went to the UN and they closed the door to us and we could not speak.

Dec. 10, 1992, they finally opened the door at the UN. I knocked on the door 4 times, the sacred number. The Hopi and representatives from North and South America went together and we delivered our message to the UN. When I got up to speak it was late. An 80 to 90 mile an hour wind came and almost knocked the UN over.

There was a terrible rainstorm with 3 to 4 feet of water that flooded everything and the basement of the UN was flooded. Everything came to a standstill and there was lightning and thunder. Then there was a blackout and everything came to a standstill. I noticed the many empty seats and only about 4 UN people were there to listen to us.

I called on the 4 directions above and below and I told them to use their power to bring our message to the UN. I was there to deliver the message by word of mouth. The next day it was still raining and we were called to go to the UN again. I told the people we should form a circle and hold hands and I called on the forces to stop the wind, rain, lightning and thunder so our native people could go home safely.

I asked men and women from the east, west, north and south to come to the center. I did the corn meal prayer to ask the bad weather to stop. Some people from South America joined in the center for the prayer. Within an hour all the bad weather outside stopped and the sun shone like nothing had happened.

People from Brazil and elsewhere came to thank me for having the courage to form the circle. I had presented to the UN the message that we need to stop war, put aside jealousy. We are all human beings. If an earthquake comes, we will help one another whether we are black, brown, or white.

Put this message in your hearts. It’s time that you people tell your government servants what to do. You are the protectors of this area and you need to tell your senators to stop the mining that is causing sickness and lung diseases. Everything just keeps going on. The Hopi have said they will not move. The four corners (of UT, AZ, NM and CO) is the spiritual center.

The whole world is in a mess and the only way for it to survive is to hold the four corners area in balance. If we do this the Great Spirit will help those who survive. The balanced life will be created. The land of the fourth world will not be destroyed again.

You should know about these things. We are destroying ourselves. The purifiers will rise up. We had the swastika symbol but ours moved the different direction than the swastika symbol of the Germans. Someone with a red hat is watching this country. There will be great nations again. (Note: the Red Hat Prophecy goes back a hundred years or longer from the Hopi elders).

They are going to throw that bomb and it will be before breakfast and then it will be darkness. The evil destructive people will be destroyed because of their lying and destruction of this land. At the end we are one people one people with justice and equality. This is the message from the elders. Instead of registering for war, we should register for peace from now on.

From Lynn: I see these various videos with a sense of nostalgia for the loss of reverence for our land and our people across the world.

My family lived in Zuni Village from the time I was born until I was about 4 or 5 years old. My father worked in the trading post. We moved to Gallup, about 45 miles away where I grew up, went to school and eventually met and married Paul.

Southwestern Indian art has always been in my home. My first part time job was in my father’s trading company pricing jewelry with two Navajo women. Years later when Paul and I lived in Denver, we met Russell Means and he rode with us to see his Immersion School in South Dakota. He wanted to teach the Lakota children their history and their language.

As I look at the events in the Middle East and in our American cities I am struck by the absolute disrespect for the people and the land that the predator class demonstrates and promotes around the world. Wars and greed could not exist if there was respect and love for people and their lands, homes, businesses, farms and ranches.

Weather wars have stricken areas like Paradise in California, LaHaina in Hawaii, Eastern Tennessee and Western North Carolina, as well as Spain, South America and other parts of Europe. Perhaps the best we can do at this point is to love our families, our homes and neighborhoods, and appreciate the people around us and our surroundings.

So how do I do this? I surround my home, inside and outside, with plasma energy. I soak pebbles in various energies and drop them around certain places as I walk around town. I give some plasma energy to the creek. And all is done with intention because water carries memory and water carries intention.

Some places get Peace, some places get Harmony or Energy Balancer. Some places get Plasma Energy Station Water or Heavenly Protection. And some places even get Meanness Buster Plus.

Should I change the name from Meanness Buster Plus to Happiness Plus? I decided to keep the name Meanness Buster Plus because my intention is that naming this thing for what it is—meanness—is to take its power. Know when to share the power and when to ‘take the power.’

Use your plasma energy waters creatively…around your home, around your yard, around your work place. Use it for drinking, in your laundry, for your pets and plants, and in your cooking. Appreciate it for the blessing that it is!
